We provide all the usual veterinary services to our farmer clients.
Most of the workload with production animals now involves preventative health programmes and assisting with increasing production.
This can involve such activities as trace element monitoring, pregnancy testing, TB testing, artificial insemination, stag velveting etc as well as the more routine ‘fire brigade’ type of animal problems.
Most of our farm vets have worked in the area for many years and this has enabled them to build up a lot of local knowledge about such things as mineral deficiencies on individual farms, facial eczema risk areas, liver fluke farms etc. It also means that we have built up strong long-term relationships and friendships with clients which we really value
