Wanganui Vet Services are a Best Practice accredited clinic and are fortunate to enjoy the services of a professional staff with a very broad range of skills.

We are a mixed practice but have vets who are very experienced in dairy, sheep, beef, deer and Companion Animals.

We provide clients with a friendly and caring veterinary service that is prompt, efficient, up to date and available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We can care for large animals and Companion Animals alike.

Light weight heifers never reach their full potential in terms of production and fertility.

Wanganui Veterinary Services has developed a scheme to place heifers with very good graziers on good land to ensure that heifers are well grown. It is managed by John Pickering and Jamie Anderson and they have now built a 12 year history of producing consistent quality heifers.

Wanganui Veterinary Services has been providing education in conjunction with AgChallenge Ltd in various forms to students since 1995.

AgChallenge is an NZQA registered and accredited 'Private Training Establishment' in Wanganui with a proven record in education in areas as diverse as agriculture, carpentry and automotive.
